These traditional homes were originally built sometime between the late seventeen hundreds to early eighteen hundreds and are part of a family inheritance. Sometime in 2002 they were fully renovated to accommodate the guests with the comfort of modern living yet leaving the old appearance preserved. The unique Venetian architecture, thick stone walls, arches and traditional furniture, provide the guests with a pleasant experience of a house of such architecture.

We offer several categories of houses. Each has an extensive list of features to make our guests feel at home.  The property is fully gated for privacy and security.

The houses have air conditioning units and fans for the hot summer months and there are radiant heating units available for winter stay, cozy wooden lofts used as sleeping quarters with windows that overlook either the mountain side or the fields or the cost in the horizon. The kitchen area has plenty of useful peach pine cabinets, and comes with a range-stove, refrigerator, microwave oven and much of the needed utensils. Tiled elegant bathrooms where you will have access to a washing machine. The handmade traditional wooden furniture all around the house give it more of a traditional look that blends with the architecture. The living room has a satellite TV, DVD player. There is a multi car driveway and additional parking outside the house area, pool area and much more.

The outside area has a 2 car driveway, a patio and the swimming pool area. The drive way and all around walkways are tiled with Karistos stones. Just a shout walk away due south and through the narrow roads of the metochi (small village) you will find yourself at the lake Kourna. The distance should be around few hundred meters. At the lake you could swim, sunbathe, ride the pedalo, and canoe. On the north side and just a 5-10 minute drive from the house you will come to the beach about 3 km away. The north coast of the island is visible from the house windows. There are several taverns, restaurants, café and souvenir stores near the house within walking distance of three hundred (300) meters to 1 km. The nearest beach is down at Georgioupolis where you could find additional stores, supermarkets, pharmacies, internet café, 1-hour photo lab, car rentals, police station, and just about anything else you will need you will find in adjacent town of Kavros.
